Wardrobe is a very important part of any photography session… Which is why we take the time to consult with all of our clients regarding wardrobe prior to the shoot so we can ensure your goals and visions are met.

Location, Location, Location…
Some of the best photos will be taken outside of the studio (you saw why in the video above). If you’re in the Cartersville and/or metro Atlanta areas, we can pretty much accommodate any request you have.
Some of the favorite locations for our clients have been locally in their own town… Others include rooftops in downtown Atlanta, Midtown, Centennial Park, Berry College and even your own backyard!
It’s really up to you, or I can recommend my secret spots for your portrait session.

What to Expect During Your Portrait Session…
I’ll likely have a bunch of questions like—where do you like to hang out? What do you do for fun? Are you involved in any extra-curricular activities, etc? The more I know about you, the better I can plan your portrait session and make it all about you!
NEWBORNS: Newborn sessions are usually scheduled prior to delivery. It’s best to photograph newborns within the first 10 days after delivery, the sooner the better!
Newborn portrait sessions can last up to 3-4 hours. So please come prepared to relax, have fun, and with plenty of change of clothes. Extra outfits are always better than not enough. Texture is everything in portraits. Please, don’t be shy with bright colors, layers, and unique outfits.
TODDLERS & CHILDREN: Please stick to your child’s usual nap and feeding times- this is extremely critical for a successful portrait session. Please be sure to feed your child and take care of bathroom or diapers prior to your session. If you have decided to bribe your child with candy, special places, etc. please let us know!
Your child’s wardrobe can either make or break the quality of your photographs. For this reason, we like to be included in selecting and approving outfits for your child’s portrait session. We are extremely happy to come browse through your child’s closet or send you links for ideas in the days prior to your portrait session. Outfits, Outfits, and Outfits! Bring lots of change of outfits, lots of accessories: tights, scarves, hats, headbands, jackets and vests.
FAMILY PORTRAITS: Please make sure all family members arrive on time. Waiting for latecomers means less time and fewer portraits. We absolutely love photographing families in their natural element. We also know of some beautiful places in and around the Cartersville area. We love photographing families at different location during their portrait session.

Unlike most other photographers, we do not charge a “session fee’ for each portrait session. Sessions may take place in the Carterville area and surrounding areas of Cartersville as well as in/outside of Atlanta. Certain areas require a travel fee.
